Let’s kick-start this rocket launch at Modernism Week with a wild party in Outer Space and take one giant step in Palm Springs history! In celebration of Modernism Week’s 15th year join us on a Space Modyssey that is going to be super FAR OUT! We are taking over the biggest, aeronautical, retro Space Cruiser we could find at the Palm Springs Air Museum (a vintage treasure trove in its own right) and we are blasting off into space, man!
Get Lunar with us at the Space Bar and enjoy stellar intergalactic cocktails, open premium bar, and abundant atomic party cuisine provided by our earthling friends at Lulu. We’ll fly past asteroids and satellites while rocking out to the amazing, legendary David Bowie tribute performer: Space Oddity (back by popular demand!) who will perform all of the Bowie classics with his full band! Dance and jet-pack the night away as our flying saucer orbits the Galaxy with our DJ playing the greatest dance hits of all time. Ground control to Major Tom – this astro-extravaganza is going to be unlike any in our 15-year history! Have fun dressing in your favorite party-gear or space regalia – Mods, Aliens, Jetsons, Wookies, Trekkies, Earthlings: All are welcome! This special extravaganza is presented by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery.
