What’s behind the gates? We get asked that question every day and now for the first time ever we are opening our “Hidden” Cody Villas up for Modernism Week. These lovely midcentury homes, nestled next to the historic Palm Springs Tennis Club and Spencer’s, were designed by William F. Cody. Built in the mid-1960s, the thirteen original homes included a model home decorated by the preeminent interior designer Arthur Elrod. The homes were brilliantly designed by Cody as each one has a unique floor plan and takes full advantage of the mountain views. With traditional midcentury architecture, the exteriors of the homes are well preserved with flat roof lines and dramatic local stonework. Each of the homes has been fabulously renovated, including one home that was recently featured in Palm Springs Life.
All homeowners, two of whom are nationally acclaimed designers, will be available to discuss their renovations and answer questions. Each home also has distinctive midcentury furnishings, original art work, and spaciously renovated backyards. Be among the first to see the “Hidden” Cody Villas and you won’t be disappointed!
Proceeds will be used to help maintain and preserve the pristine condition of our midcentury community, including investments in our pools and landscaping renovations.
