Quintessential Palm Springs awaits you at seven rarely-shown properties in Old Las Palmas – the city’s oldest and most historic neighborhood, boasting more celebrity homes and estates than any other.
With work by iconic Modernist architects William Cody, Albert Frey and Donald Wexler, the 2019 edition of ‘A Peek Behind the Hedges’ highlights Palm Springs’s three greatest periods. Included are a just-completed contemporary masterpiece (by Narendra Patel, AIA), a rich variety of midcentury designs (including a Liberace home , the Alan Ladd estate and more), and a 1932 Spanish-revival mansion that was part of the original Merito Vista Tract. The tour’s significant art, architectural features and landscape design offer something for everyone.
Guests will be provided with an illustrated full-color souvenir booklet.
This event is organized by the Old Las Palmas Neighborhood Organization.
Net proceeds of the tour will benefit various Coachella Valley charities and neighborhood projects.
